A conventional compact fit

54-18-135 is close to a standard optical frame. For the wearer moving from regular glasses into safety eyewear for the first time, this is the least disruptive change of shape — which usually means it actually gets worn.

Shields you can take off

Standard removable side shields are supplied with the frame. They come off for office or customer-facing work and go back on for the floor — but the Z87.1 side-protection rating only applies while they are fitted, so they are a decision the wearer makes each time, not a set-and-forget.
