Shields that are part of the frame

The side shields are molded into the frame rather than clipped on. Nothing to fit at the start of a shift, nothing to lose, and no rating that quietly stops applying because a shield worked loose in a pocket.

A deep lens on a wide front

62 mm across with 38 mm of depth is a generous opening, and the 67 mm effective diameter means the lens blank has to be cut large — which is exactly what you want for a strong prescription that would edge too thin in a smaller frame.

Crystal finishes

Crystal Blue and Crystal Brown are translucent rather than solid. They show less scuffing than a painted matte finish over a long service life.
