Sealed, non-conductive, and it takes a prescription
SV20 is one of only two SafeVision frames the manufacturer badges non-conductive, and it ships with a removable full-seal rubber gasket. At 55-18-132 with a 37 mm lens height it is a mid-size frame that covers two jobs most safety eyewear cannot.
Non-conductive matters for electrical work
Metal safety frames are unsuitable near live electrical work for obvious reasons. SV20 is badged non-conductive by SafeVision, which is what makes it a candidate for electrical trades, utilities and arc-flash environments where a metal frame is simply not an option.
A seal you can take out
A removable full-seal rubber gasket is supplied with the frame. Fitted, it closes the frame against the face for dust, grinding swarf and airborne particulate. Removed, the frame wears as ordinary safety glasses. Dust dams and replacement seals are available separately.
Five colorways
Black/Clear, Brown, Clear, Pink/Grey and Purple/White — an unusually broad palette for a sealed safety frame, and useful where crews are color-coded by shift or department.
