SVSS 14 measures 54-18-140 with a 39 mm lens height, the deepest of any SafeVision metal frame. It exists for the prescriptions that defeat everything else in the line.

Built for the difficult script

Strong corrections and progressives both want vertical space. At 39 mm this is the metal frame to send to the lab when a shallower one has already come back as unworkable, without moving the wearer into a large plastic wrap they do not want.

Side shields that come off

Removable side shields are supplied with the frame. They are the standard SafeVision shield, so a lost pair is a part order rather than a new frame — but note the Z87.1 side-protection rating only holds while they are fitted.

Cool finishes

Matte Silver and Matte Blue are both non-reflective. The blue is one of the few color options in an otherwise grey and brown category.
