SVTI 1 measures 54-17-140 with a 37 mm lens height — a compact metal safety frame with a usefully deep lens, offered in Gunmetal and Antique Bronze.

Compact, but not shallow

54 mm wide with 37 mm of lens height is a good ratio: narrow enough for a smaller face, deep enough that a progressive is not automatically a compromise. Narrow frames usually give up depth; this one does not.

Side shields that come off

Removable side shields are supplied with the frame. They are the standard SafeVision shield, so a lost pair is a part order rather than a new frame — but note the Z87.1 side-protection rating only holds while they are fitted.

Finish

Gunmetal and Antique Bronze are both muted. Neither shows scratches the way a polished chrome frame does over a year on a jobsite.
