SVTI 11 runs a 19 mm bridge — the widest in the SafeVision metal line — on a 54 mm lens, in Antique Gold and Matte Grey.

The bridge is the difference

Bridge width is the measurement most often got wrong on safety eyewear. Too narrow and the frame pinches and slides down through a shift; too wide and it drops onto the cheeks. At 19 mm the SVTI 11 fits broader nose bridges that a 17 mm frame simply will not sit on.

Side shields that come off

Removable side shields are supplied with the frame. They are the standard SafeVision shield, so a lost pair is a part order rather than a new frame — but note the Z87.1 side-protection rating only holds while they are fitted.

A shallower lens

At 33 mm this is a shallow lens. Good for single vision and for keeping the frame light; if the wearer needs a progressive, SVSS 12 or 14 will serve them better.
