OnGuard OG F217 Prescription Safety Glasses

A rated frame that reads as ordinary eyewear

The F217 is an acetate rectangle in gray or navy, so it looks like a normal pair of glasses rather than PPE — the same reason its sibling the F214 sells. It still carries both the US ANSI Z87.1 and the Canadian CSA Z94.3 impact ratings, so one frame is approved on either side of the border and it holds up on a corporate safety-eyewear program.

Shields on or shields off — your choice at order

Each color is offered two ways: plain, or with EZ Shield side shields fitted. Choose the shielded configuration where lateral protection is part of the requirement, and the plain one where it is not. The frame and lens rating is identical either way; the shields add coverage at the temples.

Prescription lenses for the work environment

Lenses are glazed to your prescription in polycarbonate, the impact-resistant material that holds the Z87.1 rating. Single-vision, bifocal and progressive prescriptions are supported. Add anti-fog for humid or temperature-swinging environments, anti-reflective for screens and night driving, and anti-scratch for durability.

Fit

Eye size 50, bridge 18, temple 135, frame width 118 mm — a compact-to-medium fit that suits smaller faces. Compare against the markings inside your current frame if you have them.
