3. Close the right eye then align the ruler's 0mm with the center of your left pupil
4. Look straight then close your left eye and open your right eye
5. The mm that lines up the center of your right pupil is your PD

Glasses are great

I got all the bells and whistles on these glasses. So far so good. I've been running a table saw outside and running circular saws up close to my face. No dust on my eyes. If I had one critique, is it took about two months to get my glasses. If you need glasses badly, plan on waiting a bit. But I'd rather wait and have them perfect than to have someone rush my order and do it sloppy.
