How thin can my prescription lenses be in this frame?

For prescriptions up to roughly +/-4.00 sphere with cylinder up to -2.00, polycarbonate is the right call (lightest, ANSI-rated, lowest cost). Above that, high-index 1.67 keeps the edge thickness in proportion with the slim Det Cord profile so the glasses still look like glasses, not safety goggles.
Are they comms-compatible — do they work with earpieces and over-ear PPE?
