The Spectron is a Category 3 polycarbonate lens, allowing maximum visible light transmission of 12% to reduce radiation, brightness, and glare from the sun’s rays. With this reduced light transmission factor, it’s ideal for outdoor activities in medium to full sunlight. Spectron lenses reduce reflected light and glare from snow and water surfaces.
REACTIVE lenses provide 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation. They’re also photochromatic, adjusting to visible UV levels to provide superior visibility. They’re fabricated from Trivex, a super-durable military-grade urethane polymer.
